I used to be a manager at a store in a mall called Boutique Jerome. They sold leather purses from top quality down to thinner leather and priced according.
While there, I bought several items that I am very please with for myself or for family and friends. It was a owned and operated by a family business in Quebec, Canada that expanded itself in Ontarion Canada.
It was mostly a French speaking family but we managed fine.
I do not like spending money on items that do not last me a long time, well, not in this case.
This card walled lasted me over 20 years and I loved it. It only started to look worn starting in 2025 and a couple of days ago, the handle that opens and closes my zipper, broke in two.
I ended up replacing it with a ring link and a cat charm. It is still usable for now but I need to get another one. The store no longer exists in Ontario but they have a lot of stores in Quebec.
There are some items like this I can get from Amazon but back then, the quality wasn’t as good.
